Homogenizers for Mixing, Blending and Dispersing

This digital homogenizer is designed to blend and mix small liquid and tissue samples.

This model has an ultra-fast operating speed of up to 27,000 rpm and will provide effective blending for volumes up to 2500ml (with 25mm dispersion tool). Two stainless steel high efficiency dispersing tools with PTFE bearings are available, each easily interchangeable. This model has an easy-to-read digital display with simple speed change via the front turn dial. This model is perfect for mixing and blending creams or liquids, plus blending tissue samples. 

How it works 

Material is drawn up into the dispersion tool by a rapidly rotating rotor (blade) positioned within a static head or tube (stator) containing slots or holes. There the material is centrifugally thrown outward to exit through the slots or holes. Because the rotor (blade) turns at a very high rpm, the tissue is rapidly reduced in size by a combination of extreme turbulence and scissor-like mechanical shearing occurring within the narrow gap between the rotor and the stator.
