Product Promo: Glassware Drainage Racks

Drainage racks are used to easily dry and organise wet glassware after cleaning. They are also often used as a convenient way of storing glassware so it doesn't clutter valuable bench space in your lab.

LabDirect has two common glassware drainage racks - wall mounted and free standing.

Wall Mounted Rack

The KARTELL wall mounted rack has 72 peg positions and is made from a single mould of 4 mm rigid HIPS. The peg sockets have closed ends eliminating leakage and consequent biohazards. The seamless drip channel collects waste which drains via drain tube provided. The pegs are easily removable for cleaning or to accommodate particularly shaped items. This rack will not stain or rust. Comes complete with mounting kit, draining hose, and fixing template. Additional racks can be joined together to make a bank of racks, using the joining plugs provided. Supplied with draining kit (connector + tubes). Discharging tube: internal 11 mm, external 13 mm.

Free standing rack

The free standing racks are light weight making them easy to move around the lab where needed. These racks are popular with small labs as they are also an efficient way of keeping glassware off valuable bench space.

• Manufactured from polyamide epoxy coated steel
• Offers better heat and chemical resistance than other coatings
• There are eight pegs 110mm long and twenty four pegs 80mm in length. Peg diameter is 4.5mm
